Sea Glass String Bikini

For the Sea Glass inspired suit we wanted to literally take pieces of glass we had accumulated over the summer and photograph it during the morning light. Once we had the right group of images we then engineered the photos taken of the glass, into the pattern of our classic string bikini. The challenge was to take something specific to summer, which was the photographs of sea glass, and present it in a way that both abstract and recognizable at the same time. *This suit was recently featured in The 2011 SI Swimsuit Edition.
